Woodbridge, First Missionary Baptist Church (ABA)

The FMBC, Woodbridge, sponsored by FMBC, Riverbank, Missionary Ed Hall, was organized July 27, 1950 with eight charter members. The church bought property and completed a nice church plant while he was missionary.

The following served as pastors:

• Lee Hooper 8 months in 1952
• Ed Hall 1952 - 61
• Gene Stevens 1962 - 67
• Richard Woodall 1967 - 68
• Bob Jones 1968 - 69
• James Cain 1970 - 73
• Pat Christian 1973 - 97
• L. D. Perdue 1998 - 02
• Frank Palmer, 2002 - Present

The church sponsored following missions which were organized into churches: Mt Olive MBC, Stockton, LMBC, Sacramento, FMBC, Lockford, and a mission in Turlock. One of the nicest church plants in the state is in the process of being completed. It was started during the L. D. Perdue's time and completed during Frank Palmer's time.
